Hot Cocktails At The Push Of A Button

irish coffee

Hot coffee is one thing, but hot cocktails and front porch sitting sounds like the perfect start…or end to a day.

If you like coffee and alcohol…. {I feel like im singing the pina colada song haha}

But seriously, if you like coffee and you like alcohol, and you haven’t yet tried the two together, then you are missing out. I was….but not anymore.

cask&kettle hot cocktails

Cask & Kettle sent me two of their hot cocktail k-pods to try out. I received Hot Blonde Coffee and Irish Coffee. I was super excited about trying these two out the most! So YAY!

First let me tell you how it works. Its super easy and convient. The K-pods come with everything you need. You just add water. This can be as simple as adding to your Keurig, or just simply adding to a mug. {No Keurig required}

Each K-pod has the coffee and the alcohol premixed. So just place it in your brewing system and add water {8-12oz depending on how strong you want it brewed.} If its too strong, just add more hot water. If you dont have a brewing system just pour k-pod into a cup of hot water and stir. These are hot cocktails, but of course they can be cold brew cocktails too!

Now all you need is your finishing touches! Prepare as you would your normal coffee, maybe add in some whip cream and chocolate sauce to fancy it up!

I actually preferred the Hot Blonde Coffee as it was without needing any creamer added which surprised me! I usually need at least a Tbsp of creamer in my coffee. However I did brew mine at 10oz instead of just 8oz.

Don’t really like coffee? Thats okay, maybe try their Spiked Cider instead!?

Available at your local liqour stores-check here to see where you can find it!
